Dr. Beckner grew up in Springdale, Ohio and attended Princeton High School. He received his pre-dental education at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio from 1980 to 1983. Dr. Beckner completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from The Ohio State University, College of Dentistry in 1987. From there he completed a two-year residency in Periodontics from the University of Kentucky in 1989, while practicing part-time in his father’s periodontal practice in Springdale. He opened a full-time periodontal practice in Hamilton, Ohio in 1990, moving his practice to its current Fairfield location in 2014. 

Dr. Beckner lives in Fairfield Township with his wife, Kristen, two daughters and their dog Charlie.

Kristen grew up in Beavercreek, Ohio. She received her B.S. in Psychology and Certificate in Dental Hygiene from 

The Ohio State University, College of Dentistry in 1980 and a Masters in Dental Public Health from Boston University in 1983. She went on to teach in the OSU Division of Dental Hygiene from 1983 to 1995, during which time she earned a PhD in Health Education, specializing in Health Care Administration and Gerontology. She joined Dr. Beckner’s practice in 2001, now serving as Office Manager and Dental Hygienist. In addition, she continues to pursue her passion for the quality of long-term care of older adults affected by dementia.

Laura is originally from Cincinnati and also attended Princeton High School. She received dental assisting training at Scarlet Oaks and has worked in the dental field for over 35 years. Laura has experience in general dentistry, endodontics, orthodontics, and now periodontics. She enjoys gardening, her dogs, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and husband Michael. In addition, she enjoys both the Renaissance and Celtic festivals. She joined our

 practice in April, 2021

Rachel is originally from Fairfield and graduated from Fairfield High School in 2020. She was brought up in the dental office at a young age and since has chose to follow in her mother's footsteps! Rachel loves to be outdoors, spend quality time with family and travel. She is a Fairfield Show Choir alumni having spent 6 years in the program as a singer and dancer. Rachel joined our practice in June, 2023.
